News Art in Frapa: „Stone, karst and olive“ by Ivica Vlašić 01/08/2019 Proud to announce art exhibition „Stone, karst and olive“ in Marina Frapa by Ivica Vlašić. Exhibition lasts from 01 of August till 31 of August. Academic painter Ivica Vlašić was born in Vareš on November 23, 1954, and since 1960 lives in Livno. He completed his primary and secondary school in Livno. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo in 1976. In the same year he went on a study trip to Paris. He specialized painting from 1981 as in Warsaw at the Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Painting (Akademia Sztuk Pięknych, Wydzial Malarstwa) thanks to the scholarship from the Polish Government. In 1996 he was included in the Encyclopedia of Croatian Art in the edition from the Lexicographic Institute "Miroslav Krleža" in Zagreb. Ivica Vlašić opened the private gallery ART '' VLAŠIĆ '' in 1998 at the PTC Forum in Livno. He has a drawing and painting course at the gallery since 2009. The result of the painting school are countless exhibitions and three students of the Academy of Fine Arts. A collection of over 1000 portraits stands out in the creative collection of landscapes and horses. You can visit the exhibition „Stone, karst and olive“ in Marina Frapa from August 1st to August 31st, every day from 7am to 11pm in the marina reception building.
